Research Development Certificate - Fall 2026

The Research Development (RD) Certificate provides a comprehensive introduction to the key principles and practices of research development. Earn your RD Certificate through a comprehensive program consisting of six classes: one self-paced online module and five live online lectures, totaling 12 credit hours.

Designed for research development professionals, research administrators, faculty, and staff who support proposal development, research strategy, and sponsored research.
 

The Research Development (RD) Certificate provides a comprehensive introduction to the key principles and practices of research development. Participants will learn from experienced RD professionals, gain practical tools and resources, and connect with research development professionals across institutions.

The Research Development program spans six weeks, with one 2-hour class scheduled each week.
